Yaaay deviantart.

Honestly, the reason there's nothing new is because, well, I'm lazy, and I've made just about nothing since, well, the last thing I put up.

Also?

There's no fucking way I'm going to let DA have rights to anything I make that's actually GOOD.

Read the submission policy, people.

They can sell your stuff. Without your permission, or paying you at all.

It's not really yours then, is it?

I don't really think anything I have up is commercial quality, so I'm not going to take anything down.

But if I did? I would have yanked it all off once I learned about this.

And that's why I'm not going to put anything really good and finished up.

I made it, and if it's my original work, I deserve the FULL copyright priveleges.

You still retain the rights to your work, hon. It's one of the first things it says. Your work is and will always be YOUR WORK. Just WATERMARK your work. And the most "selling" it is referring to is using your work to promote the site itself, like saying "We have good artists like THIS person here!"

Don't get your panties in a tangle. You STILL HAVE full copyright privilages. It says so, plain and simple, Section 2. Just keep your name ON your work like always. If anything, DA's alleged "selling" of your work only promotes your name more. Anybody who buys "your work" from DA will want to speak to the original artist. DA is NOT making our work free domain. That's not what they're referring to. All they're doing is protecting themselves from lawsuits from artists getting their knickers in a knot over drivel they don't understand.

It's not like they're out to get us. :|
